JMH International LLC announced today that it has combined with Five Star Food Base Company. “We are very excited to add the fine quality of Five Star to our product offering,” said Kirk Mellecker, CEO of JMH International LLC. “The combination is a great fit due to the similar nature of our products, customers and culture. We believe our combined strengths of culinary knowledge, strong research and development and commitment to quality will be of great benefit to our customers,” Mellecker added.
Based in St Paul, MN, Five Star Food Base Company was founded in 1990 and manufactures a full line of Soup Bases, Gravies, Sauces and Seasoning Blends. Sidney Larson, CEO and founder of Five Star Food Base Company, will remain with the business and manage the Five Star Brand. “Since its inception, Five Star has been driven by culinary innovation to create natural and low sodium products for our food service and industrial food manufacturing customers. We welcome this opportunity to gain national exposure for the Five Star brand,” Larson said.
Five Star products will continue to be manufactured in and distributed out of the St. Paul facility. Customer Service and Administration will be consolidated into JMH’s headquarters in Park City, UT.
