JMH International, LLC is dedicated to providing high quality products that are safe for our customers. To ensure we are achieving the highest standards of the industry, we have successfully completed our SQF Level 2 (SQF 2000) certification on September 23rd of 2011.
The SQF (Safe, Quality Food) Code is designed for use by all sectors of the food industry. The Code is a HACCP (Hazard Analysis, Critical Control Points) based quality management system that utilizes standardized HACCP principles and guidelines, proven methods and best practices used by the food industry to reduce the incidence of unsafe food reaching the marketplace. It is designed to support industry or company branded products and to offer benefits to suppliers and their customers at all links in the food chain. Products produced and manufactured under the SQF Code assure a high degree of acceptance in global markets.
The main feature of the code is its emphasis on the systematic application of the HACCP guidelines. The implementation of an SQF management system addresses a buyer’s food safety and quality requirements.
SQF 2000 certification is a statement that food safety plans have been implemented by JMH in accordance with the HACCP method and applicable regulatory requirements and that they have been validated and verified and determined effective to manage food safety. It is also a statement of JMH’s commitment to:
- Produce safe, quality controlled foods
- Comply with the requirements of the SQF Code and Global Food Safety Initiatives
- Comply with all applicable State and Federal Food Legislation
The SQF Code Level 2 is HACCP based and outlines the general food safety management system requirements applied by JMH International in the manufacture, processing, transport, storage, and distribution of food and beverage products.
